How to develop a LOVE relationship with your finances
We each have different ways of showing and expressing love. We also like to be loved differently. But unless we love ourselves, we may end up trying to fill the void we feel through relationships with others.
This results in eventually projecting our insecurities onto our partner or onto others whom we love. This process can be exhausting and can feel like we’re going in circles.
One relationship after another, we try to fill the void from one person to another. But the void will never truly be filled unless the source is mended – and the source is you.
We cannot give that which we do not have within us. Our outer world is a reflection of our inner world. Therefore, to find true, whole, complete, and long-lasting love, we must first have that same complete love and acceptance for ourselves.
And accepting ourselves also means developing a healthy relationship with money. Most people shun at the thought about talking about money. This is unhealthy. Their personal finances simply drift sideways in the wind.
For most of us, the relationship we have with our finances is the toughest relationship we have. That’s because no one told us how to get ahead.
Just like we need to get to know a person before we marry them, we need to get to know how to really grow wealth, before we can achieve it.
Knowledge is power. But only if you act on it.
