It's important to get some education BEFORE signing up to ANYTHING

Don't take advice from Mortgage Brokers on where and what to buy.

When I started my property investing journey, I was in the dark wanting someone to hold my hand and show me the process.

I wanted someone to guide me, be a sounding board and answer my questions.

Someone to help me with strategy, where to buy, what to buy, how much to spend, how to negotiate, make sure I was not over-paying etc..

Instead, I got stuck with a few brokers & real estate agents coaching me so I would buy overpriced off the plan units & townhouses.

Thank God I didn’t buy into it… I even put down a deposit for a unit in Nundah (QLD). Thankfully it was refundable. Nundah Unit growth over the last 10 years has been poor to say the least!

Honestly, I don’t want any of you to fall into this trap!

As I know every dollar counts when you are putting funds towards investment properties and your retirement.

And especially when you don’t know what you don’t know.

So remember…

Mortgage Brokers are useful – AND ESSENTIAL – but not to tell you where and what to buy.

Same with accountants.

Same with financial planners.

Same with Real Estate agents.

Don’t fall into the trap I did.

Hope this helps✌️
